Not this years picture -- as the car show hasn't happened yet. (thats what you see center bottom)

Yes. $125 each for block and crank, $200 for both. Crank might clean up at .010, will for sure at .020.

Thanks much. Unfortunately to use that crank will probably require a new Babbitt job.

I probably can be used as is, it's not damaged, just slightly worn. I figured anyone using the block would rebabbit it, and turn the crank at that time.


Interestingly I saw very few flathead blocks or cranks at the show this week, there used to be lots of them. I had one guy look this one over, greasy as it is, look me in the eye and ask "Has this been magnafluxed?"

and that is why you dont see engines anymore. too much weight and room to haul around and then that question.......... to magnaflux is more then youre asking.

Other than aftermarket intakes and heads, there seemed to be very little flathead stuff period …..
