Can I move my leatherback front seat back

I recently bought a 1928 Leatherback and it's pretty hard to get in and out of where the front seat is located. I would like to move it back a couple inches but I'm not sure how to go about it. Has anyone tried doing this and if so can you tell me how? Thanks Guys. Glen

As I too own a '28 Leather back, the simple answer, 'Not ea$ily' about changing the seat location.

Not wishing to be a wise guy but have you tired entering the car from the passenger side, sliding across the seat ? Common era practice. More recently watched an oldster get in his Roadster (top up & side mounts) from the passenger side & slide across.

I'll be there soon myself.

It may be overkill for you but somewhere on the internet there is a picture of an ex pro basketball player that is over 7 ft. tall and owns a model A and he sits in the back seat to drive.
