VANPELT transmission school photos

There are too many photos (from our cameras) to upload to the Fordbarn, so we have put them into a separate folder on our own website for you to enjoy. Included are two short videos. The group picture now has everyone's name identified. There are 3 total pages so you must click on the little arrows at the upper right corner of each page for Page 2 and Page 3. That link:

Naturally, many of the fellows took their own pictures and those are available under other posts here and over on the HAMB.

The photo attachment is somewhat blurred and that may be because of the software uploading with FB due to file size limitations. We’ll create a link to our website with a special section of photos and you’ll be able to see larger images with more clarity. Watch for the update to this later today. Here is that link:

To Mac, Shelly, Will & George,

Thank you so much for this opportunity and willingness to share your knowledge.

Everyone at the shop were excellent teachers and gracious hosts. I'm looking forward to putting what I learned into good use.

This was a first class event. I could tell right away that the guys had done a lot of planning and preparation to get this shop turned into a classroom. I’m very pleased with the knowledge shared, attention to details, and new flathead friends met. First class operation there at Vanpelts! Thanks again.

He said he'd have to wait and see if he'll feel like putting on another one. If he does, I would highly suggest making the effort.

Another praise from me for the class. Mac, Will and George were absolutely great. Will had lots of experience to share with assembly and things to look out for. George, well, not only did he have lots of experience to share and help to give with questions, but he is just an awesome individual who I could talk to all day. Vietnam vet (flew helicopters), over 20,000 flight hours (retired airline pilot), multiple restored cars that he did himself, and just an all around great guy.

Thanks, Mac, for everything. It was a great time, and a lot of knowledge gained in the process.

People can post all the pictures they want of the transmissions and parts, but no rear ends (inside joke for those who were there).:)
