A friend of mine gave me this picture of his grandfather hauling mail in Sparta Nc in 1937 roads were a little rough 😀

Makes a person appriciate the durability of the A. My Grandfather was truant officer in rural Gallia county, OH. Had to furnish his own car for the job. He had an A coup.

He wouldn't need lights at night as the car would follow the ruts.

According to the second owner, The Wretched Roadster was used to deliver mail in West Virginia for more than 50 years prior to his father buying it in 1957. I’d love to see photos from the time.

That tells me that it was built in or before 1907.
