Avoid doing business with Classic Auto Parts. OKC I strongly urge you to avoid doing business with Obsolete and Classic Auto Parts from Oklahoma City.
What they advertise and what they sell you are two different things. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I知 just trying to save everyone the same frustration I went through. I recommend doing business with Third Gen Auto or CW Moss. |

I quit buying that junk from those folks back in the mid 1990s. Amazing that they have managed to stay in business all these years. Coop . |

As a personal bonus, they have bought me dinner at Collins River BBQ, awesome BBQ. It pays to be a frequent flyer. |

Re: Avoid doing business with Classic Auto Parts. OKC To jump back to the original thread post and reasoning for such. I’m sure they are struggling with workforce and economic issues as are we and many others. Not a excuse just a outsider observation of someone experiencing the same. We got a shipment in today from DMC who is owned by the supplier in question and this thread came to my mind. While they are not a “vital” source they do manufacture some parts I’d scramble for if they folded. Very few to no businesses I could ever bash even if competitors. All
Some are trying just some a tiny bit harder than others. Support those that treat you as the customer the best. I know If I didn’t do this for a living and had a normal job; Joe’s, van pelt sales and all ford parts would eat up my paychecks. |

I just bought a 1953 Ford mild custom. Not knowing about other suppliers, I bought some things from them. My experience has been completely satisfying. Would buy from them again.

Re: Avoid doing business with Classic Auto Parts. OKC I'd like to see more info of what the initial issue(s) was and what if anything the OP did to try to correct the problem. What was the response from Classic, if any?

Re: Avoid doing business with Classic Auto Parts. OKC Last summer I needed a fuel gauge air line kit for a '35 Cabriolet here.None of the vendors had any in stock. In a last ditch effort I called them and the salesman said that it showed one on his computer in stock. He said ,hold on and I will double check. Now I am calling from France. From the stockroom and on his cordless phone he confirmed that he had one. He dropped shipped it to my friend in FL.All good.I asked it be shipped USPS 1st class(not UPS or FEDEX) and he honored it.That is my experience.

Re: Avoid doing business with Classic Auto Parts. OKC Done small amounts of business with them for years. They have been hit and miss all these years. I did hit one home run with them sometime back. That evened up any real issues.

Re: Avoid doing business with Classic Auto Parts. OKC Things indeed have changed, a few years ago when Classic auto parts first began stocking the steel restamped F-100 53-56 front fenders they ran a sale & was able to negate shipping costs, piggy backing with another buyer delivering to the Fremont Ne. swap meet...
