Re: Fastener identification help Years ago when I was a rookie in the old Ford hobby (although sometimes I still fall into that catagory), I also purchased many of those bags labeled with Rick's on them. Over the years I have found that the cotter pin assortment from Rick's was the only thing that you could consider correct.
My guess for your bag is headlight reflector retainer clips, but there should be 4 in the bag then. |
Re: Fastener identification help Bruce,
Those are inserts for female door dovetails. If they were headlamp rim retainers they would have lips on the ends and be made of a different metal. |
Re: Fastener identification help David,
Then that explains the size. Thank you. |
Re: Fastener identification help Thanks Barners. The items identified are keepers than to use on my truck.
What about the twisted shaft tacks or nail looking items? |
Re: Fastener identification help Not Ford OE.

Re: Fastener identification help The firewall insulator bolts are rather hard to find. We make them new but pricey

Re: Fastener identification help The pack of nails from Ricks looks like what I bought from them as fasteners for nailing the metal to the wood frame work.
