I see where you say you are from North Missouri. Is this like Kansas City or St. Joe area, -or are you on the East side of the state? Knowing a geographical area might assist you because local Model-A club members generally know who is looking for a car to purchase. Networking with them might be one way to market it.

As for the price, it could be $5k to $35k depending on how well it starts, stops, and steers. If it does all of those very well, then the condition of the paintwork and the upholstery can raise or lower the price from there. The color generally does not affect the price like it did 3-4 decades ago. Now, buyers seem to be more interested in whether it shows well instead of authenticity.

Good luck in whatever you do with it.

As for the way it runs, drives & starts, it will not turn over twice & it is running, and it should be that was! i have rebuilt every thing on the car that needed it . as far as driving & stopping i don't think it could be any better! of corse i could be a little predigest

BAT sometimes brings crazy money. They are backlogged so it takes a while to get your car listed. They also have many rules and requirements before they will even accept a car. It's also not a good comparison for sales in your local area. The one that sold today I'd say was well bought at 11,000. It might have pulled more if they were pulling the jumper cables off at the beginning of the video.
Go on the MAFCA web site and look at the newsletters of chapters near you. You can also list it on the MAFCA site (if you need to be a member join a local chapter and have them sign you up for the free year with MAFCA).

Speedsters seem to go for a good price on BAT.

Could sell the body to a hot rodder and beat out an aluminum two seater and get 38k for the chassis.

Re: Thinking about sell my 29 two door

on the model As, BAT is all over the place. But honestly, a tudor sedan is not likely to bring anywhere near the high end mentioned, unless you can do a DNA and prove Henry ate in the back seat.........

A well known fella on this board who passed, has a widow trying to bring in 20k for a tudor he owned. Yes she still owns it after 6 months. to be expected....... for 35k it needs to be placing better then 470 points out of 500, in my opinion.

I think patience with your sale is important. The right person will eventually inquire and a connection will be made. Prices as said will vary, geographical areas seem to play a role in this hobby also.. kb

Re: Thinking about sell my 29 two door

when i do get out i enjoy driving it around & watching people & the look on there faces! kids today can hardly believe that it is a car! they have never seen anything like it! i usually tell them when it was made it was comparable to a Cadillac in today's world. as far as having kids, grand kids & great grand kids go! they could not shift gears in it & have anything left of the transmission & no power steering & how do you turn the air on! the only thing they really like is the horn. not the same generation as us! I still don't know what i want to do:)

We sold are last Model A using Hemmings. I have used them in the past with very good luck also.

Take a lot of pictures, tell everyone what has been done to the car, and put a realistic price on it. Our last car sold in two days, for our full asking price.

Be honest with yourself about what your car really is. That’s important.

Enjoy.

I used "WE BE Autos" for two sales and was well pleased. Mike Runnels is a stand up guy and knows his business.
They handle all the advertising and there is no fee if you sell it yourself. They also handle all buyer qualifying and walk you through the process. Chap
