Driving both old cars today 2 Attachment(s)
Going to drive both of my old cars today...what are you driving today?
On a side note: That Boomerang restaurant in both pics was completely destroyed/leveled by the tornado that we had here in Shawnee Oklahoma a few months back |
Re: Driving both old cars today Great way to enjoy the Holiday. Have a Happy 4th.
All the Best from the FL Panhandle. |

Re: Driving both old cars today If you're asking about the interior...it's more of a do-it-yourself, material I have on hand experience.
I used to live in Redwood City, about 30 miles South of SF, we had a small tornado hit back in the mid/late 60's if I recall. You can never say never with a tornado |

Re: Driving both old cars today I had my 1930 Tudor in a parade today. Big crowd, great fun.
We had about 8 cars from our club. Fun on the 4th! |
Re: Driving both old cars today I had my 28 roadster in the town parade today. The oldest car in the parade. We have had an 09 T in the past, but the owner died recently. I drove my 30 TS yesterday, too, but just to the gas station and back.

Drove my 36 Plymouth streetrod to the 4th of July parade this morning (the three of us).
Tomorrow evening we have a Model-A chapter meeting, so I will drive my A to that. Thursday I pick up tickets to Good-Guys, and that likely will be my 57 Skyliner. Might not get to take the streetrod Friday, as It has developed on heck of a squeek. New driveline, but the racket is coming from the torque converter area. |
Re: Driving both old cars today Drove my 42 Deluxe coupe thru town after the first oil change since the engine rebuild this morning. Had Cathy's 55 club Sedan out for a drive this evening. Sunday evening drove the 48 business coupe for a 10 mile drive. 1930 Model A is waiting for a carburetor to come back from being rebuilt and brake adjustment before serious road trips.

Back to the original point of this thread - I drove my '31 in a parade on Tuesday, along with 13 other As from our local MAFCA chapter. A good time was had by all. |
