Happy/sad day for my 36 Coupe that my father bought back in 1977. My wife and I have decided to move south to Florida and my cars are not making the trip. Sold the coupe and the new owner is picking up next Thursday. I have so enjoyed restoring, driving and telling people about out car. Flatheads will always have a special place in my heart for ever. Thank you all for kindness, expert advice and just general fun conversation. I have told the new owner about the Ford Barn and if he needs help on anything he can find it here! Flatheads Forever! Tom

That is one beautiful car Tom. I'm sure the new owner is very pleased with it. You should be forever proud of your hard work. Congrats on your move.

Good luck.Hope you enjoy your new home, be quite a change from Michigan. I'm sure it will be difficult to see the 36 leave for it's new home. I often think about when my time comes to leave our home. Always have 4-6 vintage cars in the basement plus the shop full of tools. It will be a tough time.

Safe travels and sounds like lots of folks head down there. Should be plenty of like minded guys to share the hobby with even without ownership. Heck, maybe by next year one of them will rent you a carport to keep your roadster in. :)
