1930 Headlight Inner Ring

Has anyone found an easy/good way to connect a new headlight inner ring to the headlight housing without spot welding? Is it possible to solder them on? Maybe a better question is.... does anyone know where to get the the inner rings? Or is there another solution to the ring?

I used JB Weld to attach my replacement ring to the inside of my bucket. I bought the replacement ring from Steve at Bert's Model A in Denver, CO. I could not find the replacement rings in their online store but I know he had them.
