Help finding correct color on my coupe 3 Attachment(s)
Wanting to paint my firewall before I instal my engine. Not painting the exterior at all, just keeping the Original looking paint since I was told it’s original. Can’t tell what color green this is. 1930 Coupe. Was told it’s a early based off the dash.
Help me out fellas. |
Re: Help finding correct color on my coupe Hello,Elkpoint and Kewanee green was a standard color in 1930 , looks like the lighter color was used on upper body, which is some were finished.Color on my computer looks more blue but often distorted on screen.

Re: Help finding correct color on my coupe You could take the hood in to be scanned at an auto paint store. I went to a local NAPA had mine scanned. Make up a rattle can of that color and you should be good to go for detailing your firewall area.

Re: Help finding correct color on my coupe I like the colors, but in this photo they look like 28-29 colors.....

Re: Help finding correct color on my coupe Might take the hood to get it scanned. Guess it’s possible it could be a left over 29 color? It is a early 30.

Re: Help finding correct color on my coupe The paint matching now days is as close to perfect as the human eye. It is amazing how accurate it is. My nephew has a paint shop and his matches are close to perfect. Sometimes an older car will come into him with nice shiny paint, but from top to bottom there is some fading. His problem is to figure out where on the car to match to, more or less fading.
