Originally riveted, screws and nuts for future easy of removal is what I did. The fasteners of your choice are covered!

Thank You
This project just keeps snow balling. Honestly I'm not sure why I went as far as taking these off. I want to epoxy prime all I can inside, but I suppose if I don't pull all the wood and prime behind it, thats where it will rust through.

What about pop rivets?

Big Hammer has the right idea, nuts and bolts is what I used on my '31 when I removed some of the rivets, not all mind you...some things you want/need to re-rivet.

These Tudor inner panels were originally installed with screws so that when the rear windows needed to be installed, the panel was unscrewed and pulled into the car, gaining access to the glass. Otherwise, there was no way to access the window glass.

Riveting is pretty easy - if you can get to both sides and have the right tools.
