More commonly known as a square bowl. I am told they were sold by Western Auto. You see them around a lot at swap meets here in California.

It is a Marvel, not a Tillotson.

Didn't Ford also sell them as replacements before the Tillotson?

Re: What is this carb??

I have a carb just like this one (see pictures). It has patent # 1536043 on the side of it. The US Patent office says it was patented bo a Earl Bessom on April 28, 1925.

Is this carb still a Tillotson even if this guy Bessom registered the patent?? Anybody have any history on this situation?
