Roadster Pickup, A400, VIN Number Just a few of my un-favorite things.
Ford never called the Open Pickup a Roadster Pickup (look up the term Roadster) The Convertible Sedan body number was 400-A not A400. VIN stands for Vehicle Identification Number. VIN Number would be Vehicle Identification Number NUMBER. If only I were less picky. Bob |

Re: Roadster Pickup, A400, VIN Number Bob,
I sell titles on the side, as I collect them. Youngsters always asking for rpu titles...... I explain they never said that. some get it and many dont. LOL they usually just say truck or box. |
Re: Roadster Pickup, A400, VIN Number Oh this could go on forever!! About 5 years ago I went down this road of folks using incorrect nomenclature that always makes it a struggle when people are asking questions. To take this topic a little further, go have a look at THIS thread.

Re: Roadster Pickup, A400, VIN Number You forgot to mention the use of AR. I feel your angst, but the hobby jargon is not going to change no matter how hard you try!
