I don't know of any that are inclusive but there are some good posts on here from some years ago about field coils and brush plate repairs. I'll have to check my resources and see what I can find. There were 3-brush and 5-brush versions.

I found this old reprint of an article By Tom Wesenburg who was our resident specialist on the P1, P2, & P3 powerhouse type generators. We lost Tom not long ago but his posts are scattered throughout the Ford Barn archived threads. Do a Powerhouse search and it should bring up most of them. Tom may be gone now but he will not be forgotten.

The Model A & B Ford Garage site has two short articles about the powerhouse but they were from Tom on this site as well.

There's a chapter on Powerhouse generators in Jim Schild's book "Restorer's Model A Shop Manual"

John, I seem to recall an article about this in the MAFCA restorer magazine probably 6 months back. Someone rebuilt his and did some documentation on it. Over the winter I am likely going to be cannibalizing a couple of less than optimal powerhouses to fix up the one in my 1929 which is ready for a restoration. I am by no means an expert, but figure it is worth trying to do myself and have taken apart a couple over the last 10 years. If you need/want, shoot me an email.
