Brass adjustment needle question please One of my gas adjustment needles has two small holes at and near the tip. All the others are solid. What is the application for the one with the holes?
Thanks in advance Charley |

Re: Brass adjustment needle question please I've never seen one with holes as they are solid brass. No reason that i can think of for having a hole in them because the tip seats into hole.

Thanks for your replies. I had a Simmons carburetor here and just removed the GAV. It is the same with the holes in and near the tip. Here is a photo of the needle.

Re: Brass adjustment needle question please I have passed on a 2 Simmons carb. cores at swap meets in the last few years, because of my lack of knowledge on these. If I see one in the future I will buy it out of curiosity now. Thanks for putting up the article.
