No doubt....Charlie was among the best of the best in my mind. I'm thinking he can still look in here, but can't post and make comments. I'm sure he will continue to do his best for anyone who contacts him directly.

I always appreciated Charlie's knowledge and willingness to help others. I don't understand why he is gone. I don't think he died. Please tell me what's going on here!

Charlie posted a rant that Ryan was quick to condemn. In playing devil's advocate, I would like to believe that the exact wording of the post was not the intended words, but rather, the 'Spell Check' words derived from what was intended. The replacement of a single letter with another changes the entire meaning of what was posted, although yes, it was political in content, which itself is a banned subject on the Barn. Not having heard from anyone who has spoken with Charlie regarding the post in question, I hold my judgement while respecting Ryan's absolute right to take the action he did.

That was my assumption too that a couple misspelled words changed the entire scope of Charley's comment that he never intended it to be. Maybe he could have been given a chance to clarify/correct.

I must SAY I have been friends with this fine man for many years. He is a true gentleman, beyond any question! I have been doped with spell check more than several times. Charlie does not have a mean word or action regarding anybody! I'm sure there is a misunderstanding regarding the post in question. I spoke to him today regarding a need for a 21-stud head, as usual he was very helpful. Frank PKNY
