need help again 600-16 whitewall I have searched 600-16 bias ply tires. does Coker make all the 600-16 tires they sell, like Fiestone, BF goodrich? The main thing I have learned is Coker tires are not a good investment, and maybe junk. I have very old firestone tires that appear new, and still have the nubs on them on my 1936 pickup. They drive good enough for me to replace them with bias ply tires. All I see is Coker, Coker, Coker. I have 35 ford wires that are powder coated. If I buy radials I will have to use tubes. Like every thing else tires are very expensive and I want to get the best for my money. Any help on other brands of tires and where to buy them would be greatly appreciated. I'm scared to death my firestones will fail. Thanks Ron

Re: need help again 600-16 whitewall I got my 600-16 Firestone WWW's from Universal tire in Hershey. They installed on my rims and balanced them for me. The tires run well, with no shaking or balancing issues. My wife and I did a little vacation trip from Northern Ontario to Hershey to get the tires, which earned me bonus points from my wife.

Re: need help again 600-16 whitewall Coker bought out many of the other tire manufacturers over the yrs. I believe they now own Universal as well. The coker family sold the business to a Japanese conglomerate.
Tires today are made all over the world. think vietnam, china germany usa thailand etc. many many countries. |
