1938 Truck Windshield Frame parts
 

Is it possible to buy the windshield frame bottom brackets that hook to the windshield crank regulator or do I need to start searching for originals?

If you can source it from old parts. I'd look there. Lot of options to get used parts now.

If you find them, I'd like to see them. I made a pair from a couple of steel hinges, cut down and rolled over a bit. Not too pretty, but functional for the time being.

Well no one said this was a easy hobby. Took me 7 yrs to find a nice grill surround chrome for my 38 truck. It happens.

do what you can till you have what you need.


I know these guys have a few 38's. not sure they will cut up a truck for the part.

Probably need to find a complete regulator that still has the brackets. They show up on ebay every now and then. Just make sure the hinged brackets are still on the reg.

You may have better luck finding them if you knew what other vehicles used the same ones.
