Happy birthday, america !!

As we celebrate this day, each in our own way, please pause to reflect on the many, many blessings bestowed upon our great country by our Creator.
Yes, there are issues; however none should be allowed to diminish our birthday celebration. Many men and women have sacrificed so very much over the years, and THEY have provided the foundation for these freedoms…..
I pray GOD’S continuing blessings upon you all, and upon this magnificent United States of America!

I agree with you Marcus . I hope people remember what this day is , not just another day off / holiday but a day of remembering and be thankful for those who served.

Great post Marcus. We owe so much to our founding fathers and to those who have in so many ways made and preserved this great nation.

Sad fourth here today.
Was with my kids in the old car, waiting in the parade staging area. Announcement came down that the parade is cancelled, “out of an abundance of caution” due to some incident in nearby Highland Park.
Another sad shooting day in America.

Jay, that was a sad situation for sure, and especially for those who were nearby and involved in that celebration.

Of course, quite the sad experience for anyone "nearby and involved in that celebration". But MOST-IMPORTANTLY, we must focus our grief toward those that lost their lives, or were injured during this horrific, senseless event. We must also offer consolation and prayer to the families and friends of those unfortunate victims. Coop
