Wiper motor question I have a 36 pickup. I found an original wiper motor to put back in this thing. I'm not sure how it mounts. The spot where it goes has no brackets, the wiper motor doesn't have any mounting holes. So far the only thing that I have to hold it in place is the rubber grommet to the outside world. That really doesn't seem like enough.

Re: Wiper motor question I have a 1937 passenger car and the wiper motors have a metal collar and nut that secure them to the body above the windshield. My June, 1937 parts book indicates the 1936 pickup, model 67-830, used a 40-17512-B nut and a 40-17515 grommet to secure the wiper motor.

Like this…
Then the wiper controls pass thru the access cover on the inside. |
Re: Wiper motor question Thanks for the picture. I see my problem. I don't have the inner spacer. I can make that though. I really appreciate the help.
Thanks Mark |
