39 Truck door weatherstripping I’m planning on installing the weatherstripping on my doors this weekend. I have no evidence of where or how it goes on.
Do any of you have a photo of the weatherstripping installed? Thank you in advance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: 39 Truck door weatherstripping Trucks did not have door weather-stripping except one rubber flap that seals at the floor. The upholstery wind lace (a cloth covered rope with a flap) fits on the front, top and rear. It attaches to the body using sheet metal screws. Any sponge rubber seal will result in hard closing doors.

Here are some before and after pics for my pickup. The windlace was held in place originally by little spiral nails. When I put mine in I used 2-sided carpet tape. It goes under the cardboard then the metal strips you see go on top of that. Was not easy!
