Kudos to Snyder's- Good vendor alert

I just want to post about a great experience I recently had with Snyder's. I placed an on-line order and realized the next day I forgot a very small item that I was hoping to include in the box to avoid double shipping cost.

A wonderful young lady, Denise, answered and said they were having issues with their servers and would check that the item was in stock and then try to get it included in the order.

An hour later, she called me and said all is good and she was able to get it in the box before it shipped.

I know there are other great Model A vendors out there, but I thought this customer service deserved to be recognized.

Denise has been very helpful to me as well. I like the way she giggles too.

I agree Tim. Excellent service should be recognized. I have dealt with Snyders quite a bit and they are always great. Snyders and Brattons get most of my business for this reason.

Put Berts on that list too!
The Big 3 to me.
Also Joe at Tam’s does a great job.

Yes, I agree with all of the other vendors mentioned. I didn't want to cloud the excellent service provided by Denise, but agreed with all of the vendors mentioned. I've also had wonderful service from Branton's, Tam's, Bert's, and Smith & Jones

I have had very good services from Snyder’s but then again I’ve not had anything but good service from Macs. Wayne

Snyder's is great. But then again, so is Bert's who just recently helped me a lot. We are very fortunate to have them all.

Agreed.

Absolutely agree. I have used them all and they are the best. Bert's is probably my favorite as he also has quality used parts. The other plus for me is if I call him early on a Saturday AM it will ship that day and I get it Monday PM if it can go USPS. I know the post office gets a lot of complaints now adays but guess one plane goes directly from Denver to Orlando then out to the local for delivery.

I agree with Snyders. Always have the parts, rarely a delayed shipment and very fair pricing.

I like Mikes too- but a much smaller outfit and often only has partial orders. Never have used Berts..........

Liked Macs yrs ago- but no longer use them as their shipping fees are a bit high.

I cannot speak with authority as i only have very limited experience, but the two orders i placed with Syders were processed perfectly, including transport to germany. I received the parts faster than from some suppliers within germany!

I also rebuild Messerschmitts and BMW Isettas and sometimes getting anything from Germany is a task. It seems businesses and individuals go on vacations more than they work. I have had parts ordered and in stock from Germany only to have them shipped 6 weeks later. I have not experienced the German “fine oiled machine” I learned about in Highschool years ago… :)

50 years ago I delete with an older gentleman, he would buy out Ford dealerships old obsolete parts. I would sit with him and talk about everything after 45 minutes he would ask what are you here from! We would then go picking the part, followed by looking at his collection of cars, a good time for a teenager!

Well thanks to Fedex and similar. My last shipment arrived here between 48 or 72h after placing the order with Snyders. If the german supplier chooses a snail mail transporter, that delivery may take 4 days...

I am lucky that I only live a couple of hours away from Snyders, make a road trip at the cost of shipping anymore about pays for gas ⛽️ which is cheaper in Ohio .

Do you save enough to cover two hours travel expenses and your time ?
