39 ford woodie I got wire problems
No headlights Everything else is ok |
Re: 39 ford woodie the first step is to see if you have power on both sides of the circut breaker with lights turned on.
Re: 39 ford woodie Next would be checking the connections (including the plate that is built into the wiring harness) at the switch at the bottom of the steering column. The switch itself could be worn out. Same switch from Model A to 39.
Re: 39 ford woodie Also check your dimmer switch, just rewired a ‘40 that had a bad dimmer switch which shutoff the lights.
Re: 39 ford woodie svm99, if the 39 in question is still stock, the dimmer is built into the headlight switch, not a separate switch like on 40s and up. But if it does have a separate dimmer that you step on, by all means check it.

Re: 39 ford woodie What marko39 said above in #2 post....
Re: 39 ford woodie Both 39 standard and deluxe cars have a separate dimmer switch on the floor. PHIL

Can't help you with your Wiring problem, but thought that you like to see this Cover Photo of a 1939 Ford Deluxe Station Wagon from the Original Sales Brochure. |
