Re: 1940 Lever Shocks Andy Falandes took over Bill Wzorech's shock business. You could try to contact him.
https://fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1324697 You may have to find some cores if yours are too far gone. Not all are rebuildable. |
Re: 1940 Lever Shocks I have ONE shock that is rebuilt. LR I believe. It was for my 39 Mercury but I never used it. $50.00 and it's yours. You pay shipping.

Re: 1940 Lever Shocks I did really well buying and using used shocks for my Houdaille needs. Takes little time to determine how much they leak. If you have no trouble making a bigger deal out of the shocks, then go for the rebuilts. amazed me how many correct '40 shocks show up at the swaps. I have purchased "rebuilt" units with only modest success. Fun exercise to flush old ones and see how they work. Commonly recommended fluids seem to low viscosity. Big spenders, disregard. Fred A

Re: 1940 Lever Shocks I wish there was a swap meet within 300 miles of me.

Re: 1940 Lever Shocks I think I found what I was after.
I got a hold of Andy Falandes. I'm going to send what I have to him. He said he also has cores if mine are not repairable or missing. Thanks for the help. |
