Do I have to remove windows to install window channels in doors of 36 coupe?

It will make it eaiser. Two different kits for 36's I think. When I did the tudor I would have never been able to get it done without removing the windows.

The "channels" are the things that go on the bottom of the glass, the things that go around the glass is called the "run". You need to take the glass out to install either.

It's a "maybe" but you might be able to drop the whole regulator with the glass attached to the bottom of the door. The fuzzy channels have a "T" shaped tab on the top that slides into the notch in the door frame. the bottom is secured with a single sheet metal screw.

I've just finished installing the fuzz channels in my 35 coupe and there was no way I could of done it without removing the glass. And once you get the hang of it, removing the glass is no big deal. With the glass removed you can also remove the regulator and clean up everything and re grease the metal channel.

Anyone have any information on removing windows from a 36 convertible
