Flathead 60 hp
 

I have about finished assembling my flathead 60 hp from 1938. My oil pump gear is bad as well as the shaft. Does anyone here know who can help me out with a new oil pump kit with the fiber gear and shaft. Any help is appreciated. i have put an ad on swap meet also. Thanks in advance for any help.

Check out what is available for the 2N, 8N, 9N tractors which used the same pump.

The 8N tractor that I rebuilt had a pump that was similar, but did not have the shaft extending into the pump cover plate like the V8-60 has. Was this a anomaly or do all N tractor pumps have a shaft that end flush the gears? I know some later ones gad aluminum gears, but early 9Ns had a fiber gear.

Tractor gear will not fit. It is a different tooth count.

Egge has a rebuilding kit for the internal pump gears. I believe Ronnie Roadster has the aluminum drive gear.

Thanks everyone. I found the gears at Egge and the gear and shaft from a fine Ford Barn member. I appreciate all who helped out.

If anyone is looking for a replacement oil pump gear for their V8 - 60 I have high quality US production aluminum gears available.
