what can I use?

I am about to take possession of my 1926 Ford. I know I should get the motor running but there is a thing nagging me. If I want to switch form 4 wheel drum brakes to more modern disc drum set up what can I use? The truck has a drop front axle. It has ford bolt pattern. I want to make it stop better once I get it running. Any suggestions brakes master cylinder etc.
Thanks
Jerry

Drum brake are good enough for a light hot rod IMO

The model T came without any drum brakes.

Re: what can I use?

Model T's did not have 4 wh drum brakes, they had a transmission brake and a parking brake in the rear drums. It sounds like you have a mixture of parts not Model T.

We would have to know what front and rear axle you have to be able to give much advice. If it's model A then a person would need to know what fits that set up as well as the modifications to get it there. There is a lot of information on the HAMB forum for modification of early Fords of the various model years but they would need to know what you have as well.
