If the current news reports are accurate (aren't they always accurate?), Canadians and other non-U.S. hobbyists won't be on the 'fields' of Hershey this year as the U.S. isn't going to ease the entry ban for non-essential travelers until November, despite Canada having done so for U.S. travelers in early August.

With out of country visitors being locked out, I'm assuming it shouldn't be too hard to get a room for a night or two?

Just a thought, I used AirBnB and got a really nice, two bed room apartment two blocks away from the park for $199 a night.

That rate was cheaper and closer than the hotel we normally stay at.

Same problem for us here in the UK. I have been to Hershey most years since 1977 and will very much miss the great event and meeting up with the many friends that I have in the USA. Hopefully next year but we said that last year !!
