This is a project vintage antique 1928 Ford two door sedan it is early model tail light mounts to body and engine mount is part of front cross member it has two motors also comes with later wheels and hub caps I believe 1948 Ford great to restore or hot rat rod no title located in Brighton Michigan

I have attached the sales listing above for us to read. From my perspective, I guess the term 'Early' means many things to many people. The front crossmember design that the seller mentions as this car having was carried well into November of '28 if I recall correctly, -and the tail lamp mounted on the rear body cross sill was used unto February or March of 1929, ...so neither of those really date it as early in my opinion. Maye if the photos were better, it might help us see if there are any other early features that the seller did not mention.

Im a believer in they should all be saved. With that said, this is a parts car at best, more so without a title.

As a restorer and owner of a very early 28 Model A, I see the term "early 28" being used very loosely, mostly because of the seller's lack of knowledge about what makes them early. There has been a real attraction to early cars but I can tell you that if one chooses to purchase one in this condition with the thought of restoring it to a correct early car, good luck unless you are able to find the many rare early parts needed to put it back together.

I would like to find a few of those at that price around me.
The title would have zero effect on the price here, they were never issued for those cars and are not required here.I just looked at at an early 31 pickup cab, sound, good doors, gas tank, needs some roof wood and very minor attention to the rear corners.I'm looking for a body to replace the one on my burned 30 Coupe. It was $4500. and he wasn't interested in any offers. He posted it for sale last night at midnight, and I responded at six AM.I was the second of what he called serious buyers.I was invited to take a look, but the other buyer had first chance to buy or pass.i wound up helping them load it in the buyers truck.

Unfortunately, not everyone is on BookFace. I know it’s hard to believe, but it’s true.
