What whhels

On my 1926 I have rusted and falling apart 14 inch rim and tires. The rims are off of a newer mustang so I assume 5 on 4 1/2. Any ideas on rims for just getting this thing on a trailer so I can get it home. One tire guy suggested junk yard for picking up space savers. He said you might want to stay away from 14 inch rims they are going like the dinosaur. Any ideas?
Thanks
Jerry

Just get the least expensive ones that will work at a junk yard.

If you have a Harbor Freight nearby you might try their wheel dollies (part number 67338). They’ll work to get it loaded and make it a lot easier to move around your shop once you get it home.

while wheel dollies sound like a good idea, they dont work all that well. they get caught in the tiniest of cracks and in my opinion are a biatch.

the bearings on the ones from HF are of poor quality. so they dont roll all that well.

They work maybe fine for those guys that have nice smooth floors! Not so much for the rest of us! LOL Heck even the cherry pickers and engines stands run into the same problem in my world.
