Shop manual Any recommendations for a shop manual for a 1926 ford roadster truck?
Thanks Jerry |
Re: Shop manual No not really. We do not know what is still in place that is original, so none of them really are going to do you much good at this point. With the Datsun engine, non T brakes and who knows what front end or rear end along with steering, your best bet might be to get one that covers the parts used.

Re: Shop manual Pretty much Frankenstein. But I like my friends father in law’s work. I think I will try to get best reviewed book. But that’s half the fun.

Re: Shop manual It would help to post some photos of things like the rear end, front axle, wheels, frame, steering. Might give us some idea that will help you in the long run. We can't see how the engine was mounted and what parts were used. Once we know a little more what you have, we can make suggestions.
Before you get too gung ho, have you gotten a title or given any consideration to what paper work your state requires to legally get it on the road? Just because it is old, does not exempt it from registration/title and insurance laws of your state. |
