Tulare swap Report Well it was held, and there was interest.
Some great deals, especially a beautiful, complete, 47 or so MG TC that sold for 10 K. I sold nothing, but my finds partially compensated. One criticism was the silica sand is a real problem in a breeze. I have a theory, proved out by an irrational guy. I say that one in a hundred, are real unique %#~!£>}{|%**. I got a damaged fender out of the third time I mentioned my price for a very good 29 gas tank, the kind that are not reproduced anywhere. Human nature proved itself again. Neener, neener. I will attend next year, and live to sell again. |

Re: Tulare swap Report I attended and picked up a couple of really cool early 28 items. I mostly stayed around our swap space on Saturday selling as the crowds were pretty constant. I haven't added everything up yet but my guess is over $2K in sales.

Re: Tulare swap Report If you don't go fishing, you won't catch any fish, ever!
This was the first of many, imo. Turlock was probably worse 39 years ago. I chose to give it a chance. Needs an annual dose of magnesium chloride. And more advertising, and universal vaccination. I think several bypassed my space. I was off the traffic lane, and clearly tagged my stuff. Found some nice OEM door handles at Karr's space, good to meet up. |
