1931 Model A Roadster (SOLD)

(SOLD) Original paint and body '31 Deluxe Sport Roadster in Washington Blue and Black. New tires, tubes, upholstery, roof with sidecurtains and more. Last owner updated the motor to a 4cyl Pinto for highway driving at 60mph. Safe and daily reliable driver with great brakes, good power and sounds good too.

You should move this to the swap meet for sale section.

With a Pinto engine and the condition of the paint and chrome don't expect too much of an offer.

I would never do this to an A'. BUT that would not stop me from buying one it was done to. Of course there would be a big difference in price from a 'real' A. Did Shay produce both 28/29 30/31 bodies?

Nice. Looks solid.

Good luck sorry for the reason for your selling. That is never good.

No, they did not. This is all Ford steel body and not a Shay. Has a Model A Trans and full drive-line.

That's an interesting conversion for sure.....a Ford Pinto engine and a non synchro transmission sounds like.

Not a big deal to swap the motor out, if you like the car.

Whatever floats your boat, it’s your car.

In the end, this will be why original, stock Model A’s will be the real collectors item. The more cars that are modified, the higher the value for those that are kept as Ford made them.

By saying this. I am not saying that I don’t appreciate and understand the amount of work and love that has been put into many modified antique cars.

Again, it’s your car. Your dream.

Enjoy.

Looks to me like that could swapped back to a model A engine in a weekend which is what I would do. It looks like some one went to a lot of trouble to not make a mess of the car especially with the stock trans. There is the value of an original paint Model A roadster. Rick.

Does anybody know where a person could get a "right" side (passenger side)
Unity Sportlite bracket for 30-31 "A" open car? TIA;)
