This is the new Mallory Unilite for a 59a motor.
Has anyone used this distributor, and what is this threaded hole in the top of the body of the distributor for in the above picture? Thanks

Possibly a means to oil the bushing. DD

Looks like they use the same housing for both points and electronic distributors?

Sure looks like it...used to attach the condenser on points style units.
