Re: care cover Good outdoor car covers are expensive. Talk to fellow car folks who are using them and search the internet. The major problem is moisture evaporating from the ground up into the underside of your car, even when it's covered. Then the rusting begins. If affordable, find out the cost of inside storage spaces in your area. Start here:

Re: care cover Check out Covercraft, if they don't have what you need they can custom make one for you , California car cover carries many different brand covers as well, I had covercraft custom make a cover for my Roush Mustang, the worked from a picture and rough measurements ,it fit perfect. One good thing is the Covercraft is made right here in Oklahoma U.S.A .

Re: care cover I lost my inside storage on my late 31 two door sedan deluxe " see my avatar " and purchased a 350.00 cover. I left it out one winter and it immediately started rusting where there was any ware on the body and other places I couldn't see. It broke my heart and sold in the spring.

Re: care cover Find a garage or garage stall to rent. That is best. Car covers do not work well out in the weather.

Re: care cover Here in Southern Maine, storage rental units seem to be going up on every corner. There’re are car sized ones available. If it’s cost prohibitive maybe get a larger one with someone and split the cost. I know of a cover called “California Car Jacket”, but as others have said, long term outside storage with any cover, the vehicle suffers. Good Luck.......Mark

Re: care cover To answer your question, I just replaced a cover I have been using outside. I bought my new one from Empire Car Covers. The cover I received seems pretty well made. But...I live in California and I see you live a little further North.

Re: care cover I parked a Corvette in a portable garage once and the mice still got into it. I also parked my '41 in that same garage for 3 weeks while setting up for a garage sale and I put Decon blocks all around the car, they were gone every day, I went through several bags of them. Bottom line try and rent a dry/tight storage unit you won't be sorry.

Re: care cover I don;t know if you have Cube Storage in your area, I have a 40' unit I can get my 41 and 55 both in, Check out your area, there should be something. Do Not cover it outside, I did and got surface rust underneath floors.
