Re: Anyone deal with??? What is their website address?

Re: Anyone deal with??? A good rule of thumb I've found is this: Very little posts, but reaches out with parts for sale, generally a scam.
Someone with a lot of posts, you can search their posting history by clicking on their name. You can get a general sense about them from this. If still in doubt, ask for their phone number and call them up. If anything seems off, move on. |
Re: Anyone deal with??? Not sure what his handle is here on the barn, I got an email from him and its G-Parts Sales [email protected]. Won't take personal checks BUT wants payment in an "amazon gift card".....Radar is pinging!!!

Re: Anyone deal with??? Sounds like a scam to me if he is requesting gift cards. I'd stay away.

Re: Anyone deal with??? Scam, scam , scam. The latest scam is names of RG presidents being taken from the Early Ford V-8 Club website and being sent to others listed on the club websites. It makes it look like the RG president is requesting gift cards be sent out to veterans in hospice care. Naturally the cards go directly to the scammer. Total scumbags. Also if you get an e-mail from a Donald Schauer who says he has the parts you need, this guy is also a scammer.

Re: Anyone deal with??? Once payed with gift card, no way to trace or get money back. Scam.

Re: Anyone deal with??? This is a copy & paste from the administrator / Early Ford V8 Club of America's website:
It has been brought to my attention that someone is using the name of the EFV-8C National President to solicit giftcards for "Veterans at Hospice and Palliative care units for preventive items against Corona Virus Disease ( COVID-19). " Please be advised that the Early Ford V-8 Club and the National President are not participating in this and most likely is a scam to get giftcards sent to a fraudulent email address. Please be aware. Web Administrator |
Re: Anyone deal with??? I would spend some time with the 'G-Man' - waste as much of his time as possible, get him to take pictures (or really have to find them online). Then when he sends you some, ask for close-ups at different angles. Really try to just out-scam the scammer . . . maybe even agree to send money via Western Union - tell him which one to go to and wait for it . . . .
I hate these Sons-Za-Bxxxhes . . . and 'Yes' I managed to get scammed by one of them and boy was he smart on the parts and an unbelievable story teller . . . DUMB! |
