The A-2470 Brake Equalizer Operating Shaft

Originally the A-2470 Brake Equalizer Operating Shaft and Bushing Assembly had two clevis type attachments...one for the brake pedal in about the middle of the part and one for the emergency brake lever on the left side of the part near the left frame rail.

When the emergency brake lever was moved to the center, just in front of the gearshift, there was then no need for the clevis on the part near the left frame rail.

My question then, for the duration of the useage of this part, did Ford revise the A-2470 by removing the clevis near the left frame rail OR did it remain on the part till it was obsoleted?

I have never seen a A-2470 with only one clevis.

Thanks.

Pluck
