Turn Signal Wiring I recently bought a Signal Stat 900 turn signal switch to replace the existing toggle switch that currently operates the turn signals on my car.
I’m trying to figure out the best way to splice the new switch into the existing wiring (which works fine). The old wiring is cloth wrapped, not plastic wrapped like the signal switch. I bought a separate terminal block (pictured with the signal), but I’m not sure that is the right way to go. What do you think? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...0dffe919f8.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6c5ceb0fdb.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Turn Signal Wiring I just strip and twist the wires together [western union], solder and shrink tube them. Then I try to hide them in a woven time period loom.

Re: Turn Signal Wiring Forget the terminal block, those are intended to mount in an accessible location (firewall). Splice as Patrick says.

Re: Turn Signal Wiring I used a terminal strip like yours, mounted it with magnet(s) behind the left kick panel along with the flasher. Ran the wires thru the cowl as it looks like yours are. All wires from there out in the fabric loom.
