Tire Pressure Anyone have a recommended min/max tire pressure for a 31 Tudor ?
|
Re: Tire Pressure 35#. When they get down to 30# just fill em back up.

Re: Tire Pressure 1 Attachment(s)
As per tire specialists- they say to run at about 37-38-thats what I run!

Re: Tire Pressure This has been discussed at great lengths, but like oil, everyone has 3 opinions. I like to run them harder, over 40 lbs. Improves handling and tires wear more evenly. Of course I have a 29 so not completely applicable to your situation. You can see in my avatar there isn't the typical tire squish.

Re: Tire Pressure Tire pressure is sometimes printed on the sidewall,I inflate to 35 psi.

Re: Tire Pressure Thanks guys. My tires did not look too low but I was surprised they were only aired up to about 15 psi ! Just not that obvious when they are low. Checked and confirmed max pressure was not posted on the side walls.

Re: Tire Pressure 1 Attachment(s)
The Ford Model A Instructions manual that came with the car when it was new says 35 psi.

Re: Tire Pressure I'm getting good tire wear at 35 psi.

Re: Tire Pressure Check the pressure often!

Re: Tire Pressure Quote:
I always verify with the factory tag on the vehicle or the owners manual for proper tire pressure. |
Re: Tire Pressure Everything I read says 35 psi is the target pressure for 19 inch tires....and my car drives the best when the tires are kept around 35psi.
|
Re: Tire Pressure Ford said 35# for all cars except Station Wagons and pickups, which were 40#
