Re: Nice AAA I looked into importing one of these into the USA but unfortunately I think it falls under US sanctions on importing Russian military equipment :(

Re: Nice AAA Quote:
Nice truck but aren't those dual-duals kinda overkill for that tank? Maybe they're hauling heavy water! :D |

No, this is a different one. |
Re: Nice AAA Quote:
Dual-duals help with traction in knee deep mud; rather important if you're being chased by Nazi Panzers. |
Re: Nice AAA Labeled in Bulgarian, no less (flammable).
It does not indicate what it would be hauling, or capacity. If diesel fuel, which is heavier than gasoline (petrol), it's about 830 kg (1830 lbs.) per 1,000 liters (260 US gal.). If this is a 500 gallon tank, that's about 3600-3700 pounds, plus weight of truck. What is the cargo weight capacity of a single dual-wheel AA truck? I really don't know. |
Re: Nice AAA Quote:
It's in Russian. |
Re: Nice AAA Wouldn't mind having the rear axles to add to my '31 LWB AA. The one shown sure has serious corrosion on the frame and drive line from years in the mud or manure fields. As difficult as it is to find good AA wheels the axles would need to come with the rims before I would consider the conversion.

Re: Nice AAA Quote:
I suppose, though not sure they'd outrun Panzer tracks. |
