Chandler- Grove 1 bbl #1-aa, Did Ford use this? 3 Attachment(s)
I have this carb that came with a lot of Ford parts, I think it's from 1935?
Did Ford use this on anything? marked 1-AA Thanks for any input Roy |
Re: Chandler- Grove 1 bbl #1-aa, Did Ford use this? A single barrel would have been 32 or 33. 35 would have solidly been in the two barrel era!!! Never seen one, very cool looking David R would be the expert word though IF anyone has seen them he has!!! And a few other's (not to sell them short)

Re: Chandler- Grove 1 bbl #1-aa, Did Ford use this? I dated it by the Patent info , but I could have misread it.
I think the 32-33 are hand choke? |

Re: Chandler- Grove 1 bbl #1-aa, Did Ford use this? '32-'33 one barrel V8 carbs would be Detroit Lubricator brand. Not at all like you have here.

That's it , automatic choke was upgrade option. Thanks for the effort I need to find a 37Packard 115C owner in need and make him happy. |
Re: Chandler- Grove 1 bbl #1-aa, Did Ford use this? Turns out these were not great carbs, most got replaced with Stromberg or carter.
Still a seldom seen piece. Thanks for the help and history lesson |
