Is there only one manufacturer for Model A rims? Or supplier ie Coker?

Before you purchase a possibly imported rim, I would check with Bert's in Englewood Colorado. 800 321-1931 he has used rims that you can purchase as is, sand blasted, and/or powder coated and they will even mount tires on them for you. Chap

I would also check the archives on these rims. If you know what to look for they are not identical to the originals. New is not necessarily better, I would go with the originals. For what you pay for the repros you could have originals.

I bought a set of perfectly straight sand blasted 19 inch wheels from Berts for my 31 tudor . I installed a set of new repro 19 inch wheels on the George project 31 pickup that I built from parts . . After seeing and using both type wheels , I would much prefer the straight , original wheels from Berts !!!!!!! If it makes any difference , BERTS wheels are REAL model A . Berts also straightens model A wheels .

One of our club members put new wheels on his car in readiness for the roughly 2,000 mile trip to a National Rally a few years ago. By the time he got there, they were so badly cracked he put the car on the train to get it home. I'd find decent originals!
