Ever seen this 1932 Roadster ???

Hello!

I just bought this '32 and I'm trying to gather some history on it. I bought it out of Pennsylvania. I don't know how reliable the history is, but it could have been in Michigan prior to 1986 (maybe, maybe not?)

The car was restored REALLY well decades ago, leading me to believe that it had to have been used for car shows. If so, I'm hoping someone had seen it before and might have some clues???

Anyone remember this car, other than it's recent Ebay listing???

ANY CLUES OR HELP IS APPRECIATED!!! THANKS!

Josh

If anyone else thinks they may have seen it before please chime in! Just in case this isn't that one...

Thanks Rockfla. I'll see if he knows anything.

I'm no expert on this year, but I know the car is much better condition and quality than I expected. I know it's got a story, I just hope I can find someone who had seen it at some point in it's life.

Great read Bob! Thank's for posting it.

I think it's a different car. This one is Brown.

I don't really have a clue about the cars history, but just wanted to comment that the heads, intake and carburetor do not appear to be for 1932.

Hey Sal,

You're correct, it's got like a '35 or '36 engine. The car runs like a champ, but it doesn't have a numbers matching engine and trans currently.

A very, very nice roadster. It was listed on ebay last month. It is not the one that I restored as there are numerous differences starting with the engine, which in mine was '32 in all respects.

Re: Ever seen this 1932 Roadster ???

Thank you guys! And thank you mhsprecher & David for the compliments.

I got a last name of Shacklett as a previous owner. I found reference to this specific family owning a large business near Blue Bell and entering Ford/Lincoln cars at Hershey and Pebble Beach. I'm going to start shaking that tree and see what I can find.

IF IT LOOKS FAMILIAR TO ANYONE, PLEASE POST!!

Thank you for any help guys.

Got in touch with an old owner who owned it for about 15-20 years. He bought the car from a Henry Yeska, who restored the car.

Has anyone ever heard of Henry Yeska?

He mentioned Henry was a Packard and Cadillac parts maker and restorer. Said he always had a tent at Hershey.

Yes... Nazareth Pennsylvania.

I think I may have located his family and have reached out.

Hey Joe... Yes, the serial shows as a B. Know anything about the car?

Cas3, Henry lived until 2014 I believe. He made it into his 90's and then some. Interesting he was still active. He must have been blessed with good health.

While she isn't "correct" or perfect, she should be a fun car. We'll see!
