1930 ford 2 dr sedan rear side window

Hey folks, here is my question: I keep seeing 2drs with the back side window rolled all the way down, is this possible? Mine will only roll down about 2/3 of the window opening.

If you see rear windows rolled all the way down in a 30/31 Tudor, ...that likely means they won't roll all the way up. The reason yours won't roll down any further is because the bottom of the glass has a stop because of the rear inner fender panels in the quarter panels is in the way.

My 30 Tudor rear windows will roll all the way down and all the way up. without a problem.

My car has the stops for the down position and when the window is all the way down with the top of the glass flush with the bottom of the window opening, the window channel rests on the rubber bumper on the stop.

When I restored the car, I restored the original window regulators and they work fine.

I think when there is a Tudor when the rear side windows will not roll all the way down, the regulators are worn out and need attention.

Just to be sure I was not thinking about one of my other cars, I checked my 30 Tudor this morning and sure enough, the rear side windows roll all the way down and all the way up.

When the windows are down, the top of the glass is even with the bottom of the window opening.

I think a lot of Model A's suffer from window regulators and felt side channels that need attention.

I have an early 30 Tudor and I am the 2nd owner with the

original owner being one of my Dad's best friends.
Original rear and front windows were replaced in 1963 with safety glass in MN and 'DO' go all the way down and all the way up.
Installed a LeBaron Bonney interior and replaced the risers in 1988.
