New gas tank cleaning

Got a new tank for my 66' and was wondering if it needs to
be cleaned internally . What works ???

I would just use a small amount of ethanol gas and slosh it around a bit.

The fuel is likely less cost than most other solvents. A person could use soap & water but I worry too much about corrosion unless is it a plastic tank. A person has to dry it out if you use water. A new tank should have been cleaned by the manufacturer but you never know now days.
