Spark plugs for Offy's

I am fitting a new pair of Offenhauser heads to my engine and I am having great difficulty sourcing correct fitting plugs locally(Queensland Australia).
I have surfed the Net and it is proving of little benefit.
Is there a plug that will screw straight in without modification to the heads and also 'bottom-out' flush. If I use the Champion H10 they will be short by a few threads, which I believe is unacceptable.
Anyone??
Ol'Ron??
Rumbleseat??
Part numbers and a supplier would be good.

Thanks,

Graham.

I just installed a new set of Offy 400 heads. I used Autolite 414 plugs. There 1/2in. reach, not extened tips, same heat range as H-10. Perfect fit. Walt

Amazon has them, and I believe they ship overseas: http://www.amazon.com/Autolite-437-S.../dp/B000C1WBB8

Graham, If you find what plug you need but unable to ship to Australia let me know where to buy them here in the US and I will ship them to you if that will help.
Best of luck, Mark

NGK B6L You may have to grind out a thread or two to prevent a hot spot, same as for a Champion plug.

Re: Spark plugs for Offy's

Ole Don, please elaborate on that procedure for a not so brite bulb like me. Are you talking about chamfering the bottom threads?

Re: Spark plugs for Offy's

The NGK GR 2635 spark plug has an 11/16 ' reach with the washer. I use them on my MCF flathead heads. Perhaps they are long enough for Offy's.

Re: Spark plugs for Offy's

Thanks everyone for your good info.
After looking through a lot of parts books for equivalents, we found the answer only a mile away. NGK B6HS, 1/2 inch reach, same heat range as H10 they tell us. She runs like a sewing machine. It's a 99A in a 37 Fordor.
The heads were a gift to me from my son Gavin, for Christmas. Thanks to him we are a bit Model T mad also. He has a beautiful 26 roadster, an original car restored, and we're half way through a 27 roadster ute for him. Some other ideas in there too, a warm 8BA in a 27 ute rod, and a speedster for me. We'll see.
Thanks, Graham
