39 Standard hood latch mechanism
 

My hood ornament/handle doesn't stay against the stop built into the bottom part of the ornament. Is there a way to tighten up the spring in the mechanism that the square part of the handle goes through or do I need to shop for a new one? Thanks in advance, Rod
