Re: LED tail light coverup Good idea. Bugs me too when I see those. But if I decide to upgrade my old heaters I think I'll go with the direct replacements (BA15S base LEDs) behind the glass lens though.

Re: LED tail light coverup I asked our local A dealer about led tail lights and he suggested I use a pulsating red light just like cyclists use. I thought that was a good idea.

Re: LED tail light coverup Some of those bike tail lights are very directional. That is they are almost like a laser beam.
Aimed at the following driver they are quite annoying even when not flashing. The ones we use, I think, came from Katmandu (an outdoors shop here). The battery lasts for yonks. I lent mine to a guy with a disability scooter and never got it back, so it must have worked. |
