Headlight bucket mount bolts I am searching for headlight bucket mount bolts for my '39 Ford 1/2 ton. The bolts are hollow to allow wiring to pass through. Mine were too rusted to be usable.

Re: Headlight bucket mount bolts could you not drill new ones of the same type/looks, etc

Re: Headlight bucket mount bolts 6 Attachment(s)
I'm not sure those headlight mounting bolts are being reproduced, but you could probably make some of these from suitable size carriage bolts.

Re: Headlight bucket mount bolts Put an ad in the parts wanted. A lot of people on Fordbarn have redone various vehicles and replaced headlights damaged beyond repair that could be used for donors for your application. The mounting bolts for the 38/9 pickups are the same, they are the same as 35 passenger car, and they are the same as 35-37 pickups, trucks, and panels. I would think the 40/41 truck buckets would be the same mounting bolt since the seal beam bucket is dimensionally the same as the 38/9 pickups. It may be easier to replace the buckets than finding mounting bolts and changing them out.

Re: Headlight bucket mount bolts I thought I saw these available in one of my parts catalogs.

Re: Headlight bucket mount bolts Thanks for all responses. I found a set of hollow headlight mount bolts at Mac's. They were too short so I cut them and welded in a 1" piece of steel tubing. They should work fine.

Re: Headlight bucket mount bolts I believe the 33-34 and 35 reproduction bolts are available from Mac's (like John's posting #3 above) Are they long enough for 39 I have no idea?

Re: Headlight bucket mount bolts One of the Ford Tractor suppliers, Carpenter maybe , might have those. Tractors used similar headlights for years.
